Position Title: Telecom Project Manager (Maintenance Window Support)

Location: REMOTE, anywhere in USA / CANADA (Ready to work in Maintenance Windows)

Duration : 12 Months Project, Long Term

Client is looking for a Project manager to manage the project team during the maintenance window work, being the Accountable SpoC for

Escalations, Providing status reports, Managing the schedules, and synchronizing with T-Mobile to secure authorization for the regular maintenance window works.

Note : (Construction, RF , Pure RAN, non-telecom IT (such as Health or Financial industry applications) deployment experienced PMs will not be considered. Pure engineers or technical managers who want to remain very technical will not be a good fit for this position. This is management position balancing customer requirements, team logistics and managing schedules, and budgets as well as the customer relationship on behalf of Nokia.)

Responsibilities and tasks for the role:

This new request from the Client team has the potential for a long term engagement, and it involves significant maintenance window work managing the project team.

It is for a NARC (Nokia Archive Cloud) project from the Apps (not Core) involving the re-registration of several applications to NARC, example of these applications:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree with 5-8 plus years of recent strong Telecom Project co-ordination and management experience
  • Client is not looking for technical experts but some general knowledge in those areas.
  • Hands on Project Manager with telecom background and experience in customer delivery and development projects, a must
  • Preferable telecom technical background, strong technical foundation, eagerness to learn a must.
  • Strong leadership and able to manage high pressure situations
  • Able to represent Nokia with skills in managing customer expectations and requests
  • Experience with customer delivery and development projects in a telecom environment
  • Managing engineering team for Delivering Projects
  • Providing status reports and conduct periodical calls with Clients and Engineering teams
  • Telecom technical background, strong technical foundation, eagerness to learn a must.
  • General PMs tasks covering
  • Strong leadership and able to manage high pressure situations
  • Able to represent Nokia with skills in managing customer expectations and requests
  • Experience with customer delivery and development projects in a telecom environment
  • Manages the customer relationship during delivery and serves as the primary interface towards the customer in all activities-related to the own scope of the contract, including customer complaints, corrective actions, and changing requirements.
  • Prepares a clear and effective communications plan and ensures proactive communication of all relevant information to the customer and to all stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
