Job description


The position of System Application Specialist is responsible for managing and performing a variety of system related functions and processes in operations. Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing systems to create efficiency and promote operation support in alignment with the Bank’s objectives and strategic plan.

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.


  • Execute day to day operations and system needs in the Operations Department and Retail Banking.
  • Provide loan support for system procedures and corresponding applications.
  • Manage and maintain daily performance in operating systems and applications.
  • Provide error resolution for system applications and programs.
  • Ensure all processes are followed related to system requests and problem/issue resolutions.
  • Provide support in loading appropriate software packages to operating systems and applications.
  • Responsible for communication and implementation of system and application enhancements as they become available, as well as annual core system releases.
  • Assist with onboarding to assign appropriate functions and accesses for new team members.
  • Perform daily monitoring related to system and application maintenance.
  • Assist with annual system purge functions.
  • Perform related Information Technology tasks to assist in efficient daily processing and troubleshooting.
  • Help to coordinate the development of operational workflow options for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure disaster recovery processes are up to date and in line with operating systems and applications.
  • Research system capabilities to assist in development of operation procedures and new product implementations.
