Job description

We are seeking an local Operations Manager for a national Retail Cannabis Brand. We would love our candidates to have high-volume experience in a cannabis dispensary or other big box retailer. This person will directly manage all local store managers, direct training, merchandising, and inventory activities, and ensure the overall success of our big box cannabis retail store.

  • Uphold performance standards through leading local store managers in maintaining orderly operations of all areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that sales, inventory, and finance policies and procedures are being properly carried out daily.
  • Oversee all compliance efforts and develop continuous product and compliance training programs for all locations.
  • Ensure consistent excellent customer satisfaction, sales, productivity, payroll and expense goals.
  • Ensure the execution of visual merchandising standards and inventory management.
  • Lead excellent customer service through in-the-moment coaching, role modeling, provide regular coaching and feedback to associates and utilizing customer feedback to reinforce and improve quality-of-service.
  • Review store financial reports with the President and Finance Director on a weekly basis for reconciliation and to identify areas of concern/risk; recommend and implement sales and inventory loss improvement plans.
  • Oversee all inventory and merchandise flow, including regular cycle counts and tracking of company assets through inventory control.
  • Review staffing, orientation, training, development, and motivation to ensure competent associates are hired, trained and scheduled to properly service our customers.
  • Develop and coach sales associates in all departments in the areas of product knowledge, solution selling, standard operating procedures, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure human resource issues are handled in accordance with guidelines; partner with General HR Manager and senior leadership when needed.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.


  • At least 5 years of retail management experience.

Pay: $66,460.00 - $74,057.00 per year
