Job description

We are a private pediatric clinic in Hoover, Alabama. We are looking for a friendly face to be our receptionist and take part in some administrative duties. Our office is open Monday-Friday 8-5 PM. We are closed for major holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Check patients in and out of appointments
  • Answer phone calls and text line from patients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Request medical records
  • Collect patient payments
  • Post insurance payments
  • Complete monthly patient audits
  • Provider Crendentialing

Requirements

-Proven work experience in a medical office setting

-Basic knowledge of medical issues and terminology

-Excellent organizational and time-management skills

-Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations

-Communication skills and a customer service oriented

-Electronic medical record experience

-Knowledge of accounting and administrative duties is preferred

-BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or medical field is prefered

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
