Essentia Water, the #1 supercharged ionized alkaline water in the premium bottled water category, is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our growing team. Based in Arlington, VA, the Co-Manufacturing Manager will work cross-functionally within the Operations team to oversee production and inventory across all contract manufacturing plants. This role will also manage onboarding of new production sites and new product innovations. This role will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in related departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Brand Management, Customer Fulfillment, and Finance.


  • Production Planning - provides insight, data validation, benchmarking, and score-carding to make sure Essentia’s outsourced production needs are consistently met or exceeded
  • Project Management - maintain project schedules for new product introductions and process improvement initiatives.
  • Demand Planning - plays a role in analyzing and communicating sales demand and variances, and applying that information to optimize production plans
  • Product ownership – strong understanding of production standards manual, bill of materials, etc.
  • Work closely with customer fulfillment, marketing, quality, sales, ecom, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members on a regular basis and proactively address, resolve, and/or call out any operational issues affecting the timely purchasing of product.
  • Ensures the production schedule is effectively communicated, displayed, and systematically executed.
  • Creative and solution-oriented problem solver.
  • Lead cross-functional project core teams to on-time product introduction, while maintaining or exceeding quality standards and estimated cost projections.
  • Enforce project milestones and deadlines and assist with completion of critical deliverables.
  • Facilitate project communication to core team, extended team, and functional managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of product development methods for increased efficiency and shortened time to market.


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-8 years experience
  • Previous experience working in supply chain for a consumer goods company, beverage industry preferred
  • Previous experience managing new product development projects in consumer goods companies
  • Previous experience with demand planning preferred
  • Self-starter with proven record of taking ownership, fostering collaboration, and driving results with minimal direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and web-based tools
  • Superb organizational skills, with a close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work with all levels of management, technical resources, and external contacts
  • Proven experience collaborating with all levels of organization (instructing executives, managers, or associates), driving initiatives and/or technology related projects.
  • Able to address and resolve people, process, or resource issues in a fast paced, multiple priority environment.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
