Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Dallas/Fort-Worth (mid-cities) Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week+) Salary: $22 - $24/hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule employee training courses and book associated travel
  • Upload and monitor employee training completion certifications
  • Administer Employee Benefits, including new hires, bill reconciliations, terminations, qualifying events, open enrollment, and answering employee benefit questions
  • Coordinate employee leaves of absence
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process
  • Coordinate all offboarding activities for separated employees, including responding to unemployment claims
  • Perform HR data entry into HRIS, spreadsheets and other various software systems as required
  • Manage online personnel folders
  • Provide general guidance to managers and employees regarding HR Policies and Procedures
  • Assist VP of HR with various HR initiatives and responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 or more years of successful Human Resources experience performing similar tasks
  • Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred; PHR or HR certification a plus
  • Familiarity with employee insurance benefits, administration, regulations and procedures
  • Basic understanding of federal HR employment laws
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, ability to work independently
  • Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a results driven, high-demand environment
  • Accurate data entry and good arithmetic skills
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, online databases, and email
