Carnegie Mellon Pre-College Program is hiring several Pittsburgh-based part-time application readers for the winter of 2022 - early spring of 2023 (typically February to mid-April). Trainings and weekly meeting attendance are expected. Your core responsibilities will include: Thoroughly and holistically evaluate application materials, helping to enroll an academically and artistically qualified, diverse Pre-College cohort Complete assigned readings/articles/materials to ensure adequate knowledge of current and historical admission/higher education information Other duties as assigned Readers will work approximately 25-29 hours per week and will have a flexible schedule. Selected candidates need to be available for training from January 31 – February 2, then will begin working more regular hours starting February 6.
